Electromechanical Technician

**Job Summary**

Go McPherson is seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of electrical and electronic equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic equipment, including PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Perform maintenance, service, and repair of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, sketches, and schematics.
  • Work with low voltages and utilize a variety of test equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to relay the state of equipment and estimated repair time.

**Requirements**

  • Formal technical training in electronics with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the craft.
  • Associates degree in electronic field or Journeyman's card preferred.
  • Valid Kansas Class C driver's license.

**Work Environment**

The Electromechanical Technician will work in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
