Job Summary:

The primary function of this position is to perform all phases of CT scan testing, working with hospital in-patients and outpatients in accordance with established procedures and protocols. You will be responsible for completing technical imaging and non-imaging procedures, verifying insurance pre-authorization, and assisting in the learning process of students and new staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit
  • Complete clerical and scheduling duties as needed
  • Verify insurance pre-authorization and administer contrast media under physician's supervision
  • Assist in the learning process of students and new staff
  • Perform i-STAT testing and accurate calculation of GFR following established departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Completion of ARRT registry in CT Scan required
  • Licensed by State of Delaware on Radiation Protection
  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • Completion of the CT Registry exam is a job requirement
