Key Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment such as x-ray machines, computed tomography scanners, and magnetic resonance imaging machines to produce high-quality images of the body.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide emotional support as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Valid state Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Registered as an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is sometimes required.
