The MRI Technologist will be responsible for utilizing their expertise in anatomy and MRI principles to operate MRI machines effectively, assisting in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.
Key Duties- Ensure patient safety and comfort while operating MRI equipment.
- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results.
- Administer contrast media as necessary.
- Adjust technical settings and monitor image quality during scans.
- Identify and differentiate between normal and abnormal imaging results.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner.
- Foster a safe and efficient work environment.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid state radiology registration as mandated by law.
- Preferred experience of at least eighteen months in MRI technology, especially in critical care.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
