**Job Summary**

The Data Manager is a key member of the Aviation Training Consulting team, responsible for coordinating activities related to the receipt, classification, cataloging, and distribution of project source data. This role requires a strong working knowledge of departmental, corporate, and regulatory procedures necessary to accomplish work activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Extract and download data from various vendor sites using different tools, such as SFTP, Windchill, and DexCenter.
  • Organize, catalogue, and file project data, applying knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, aircraft ATA classification system, and ensuring compliance with contractual, security, and export regulations.
  • Send and process replies to Data Information Requests (DIRs), providing accurate and timely responses.
  • Perform transfers of documentation to ATC business units via SFTP, ensuring seamless data exchange.
  • Respond to internal customer requests, such as verification of data maps and document provenance for GSS, DIR status inquiries, and documentation searches.
  • Participate in special projects and other administrative functions as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**

  • College or University Diploma in a related field, with 4-5 years of relevant experience in Records Management or a combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry is an asset.
  • Must be eligible for NATO Security Clearance.
  • Must be eligible for Controlled Goods/ITAR clearance.
