Lead Nursing Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Nurse to join our team at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of nursing responsibilities during each shift, including assigning patient assignments, medication orders, training of new hires, and ensuring a safe environment for staff and patients alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage nursing responsibilities during each shift, including patient assignments and medication orders
  • Train new hires and ensure a safe environment for staff and patients
  • Provide efficient, timely, and knowledgeable care while ensuring patient satisfaction
  • Lead by example and ensure that our values are reflected in your staff at all times
Requirements:
  • Current NYS RN license required
  • 2 years minimum experience as an RN in an Oncology setting
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (current enrollment in BSN program required)
  • Excellent leadership skills and high level of familiarity with NYCBS policies and procedures
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

  • Salary up to $115,000/annually
