Responsibilities:
Oversee the attendance management system, ensuring adherence to company policies regarding attendance and the administration of leave of absence.
Compile and analyze weekly HR attendance reports, preparing necessary disciplinary or corrective measures.
Collaborate with designated HR personnel to review and implement corrective actions related to employee discipline.
Assist in maintaining employee records, including attendance and leave documentation, and input performance-related documents into the HRIS system.
Support the execution of exit interviews to ascertain reasons for employee departures.
Facilitate the processing of local unemployment claims.
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
Concentrate on initiatives aimed at employee retention and engagement.
Provide comprehensive assistance to daily HR operations.
Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.
PURPOSE:
The Employee Relations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in delivering administrative support to the Human Resources Department, with a strong focus on managing attendance, fostering employee engagement, and enhancing retention strategies.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or relevant HR experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Demonstrated excellence in customer service, interpersonal communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.
Capability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities, and plan effectively.
High level of attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential; prior experience with HRIS software is advantageous.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
