Chemistry Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Adjunct to join our team at Tri-County Technical College. As a Chemistry Adjunct, you will be responsible for teaching courses in chemistry to students at our college.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and the ability to teach a variety of courses, including lecture and lab sections. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance, evaluate student performance, and assign grades.

• Teach chemistry courses to students at Tri-County Technical College
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• Evaluate student performance and assign grades
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
• Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field for lab courses
• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in chemistry or a related field for lecture courses
• Teaching experience in a community college setting
• Ability to teach on campus

• Experience using active and collaborative learning strategies
• Experience implementing innovative assessments to measure student learning
• Track record of regular professional development in teaching and the discipline
