Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Clinic RN with cross-training in the Infusion Center to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans, communicating effectively with patients and families, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication management and treatment administration.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and address complex needs.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Phlebotomy and IV skills are preferred but not required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current New York State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • BLS Provider certification within 3 months of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School Diploma/GED and diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.
