Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Security Developer to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our digital consulting team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the security features of software applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team of developers to create secure software tools and systems
  • Design engineering solutions for new software with a focus on security
  • Lead the process of software design, implementation, and testing to ensure robust protection
  • Develop comprehensive software security strategies for various projects
  • Implement, test, and operate advanced security techniques within software systems
  • Facilitate meetings to understand and define clients' security requirements
  • Actively participate in the entire development lifecycle of software systems, from inception to deployment
  • Stay informed about potential attack vectors that could exploit software vulnerabilities
  • Advise team members on best practices for secure programming
  • Investigate and identify flaws in software systems to improve security
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support software security efforts
Requirements
  • Minimum FIVE (5) years of experience with DevOpsSec pipeline tools, including configuration management, requirements, automated testing, automated deployments, blue-green deployments, and branching strategy and implementation
  • Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE) Certification or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Certification
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Experience in cloud computing, including concepts, capabilities, and applications as they relate to storage, processing, and dissemination and overall security
  • Demonstrated experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to fulfill stakeholder requirements
