Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of shop floor mechanics to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair orders and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Perform regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Proven supervisory experience, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanical certification or degree preferred.
