Key Responsibilities- Represent the Mankato Clinic by providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently and effectively, including follow-ups, cancellations, confirmations, and rescheduling.
- Register patients in person and by phone, ensuring accurate and timely registration.
- Process payments and update insurance information in our computer system.
- Verify patient information and update records as necessary.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare for patient visits by reviewing medical records and preparing necessary documents.
- Distribute and collect patient forms and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Direct patients to the correct areas of the clinic and provide assistance as needed.
- Perform clerical functions as needed to support the department.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced and stressful situations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and staff.
- Customer service experience and ability to provide exceptional patient care.
- Keyboarding skills and ability to work efficiently in a computer-based environment.
- Dedication to patient satisfaction and commitment to providing a positive patient experience.
- Professional and positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience working with the public and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Medical terminology and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols.
