Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, as well as leading continuous improvement initiatives and training employees on equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair equipment, including Rheon's, Conveyors, proof boxes, Handyman stuffer, mixers, metal detectors, packaging machines, heat tunnels, refrigeration systems, forklifts, and building equipment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to standardize maintenance practices and processes.
- Train employees on equipment operation and provide support to production, bakery, assembly, packaging, and warehouse teams.
- Maintain a PM program with supporting documentation.
- Perform other duties as needed by the operation.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Completed or working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
- Language skills: read, write, and speak English.
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Able to communicate and take direction from the Maintenance Manager.
- Able to communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors, and Plant Manager.
- Attention to detail and legible record-keeping and data entry skills.
- Able to use Microsoft Office and order parts and schedule jobs.
- Highly motivated, flexible, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Welding and fabrication skills, full understanding of 3-phase electrical, three-phase motor controls.
- Troubleshoot AC & DC drives.
