Job Summary

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing parts in accordance with procedure MPP using molds and automatic/semi-automatic machines. You will work under direct supervision and be expected to meet or exceed required production levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all safety standards and use appropriate personal protection equipment.
  • Use the Standard Method Sheet to ensure the correct material and methods.
  • Inspect attributes and variables as defined by the QCP.
  • Maintain cleanliness of molds and equipment.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work environment at all times.
  • Follow all Company Policies and Codes of Conduct.
  • Operate molding and casting machines.
  • Follow manufacturing instructions and data sheets.
  • Operate compression or injection molding machines.
  • Read specifications to determine setup and prescribed temperature and time settings.
  • Pour material into mold.
  • Remove cured product from mold.
  • Inspect products for surface defects and flaws.
  • Ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Position and secure assembled mold and mold components.
  • Eliminate production of defective parts and products.
  • Take instructions from supervisors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent training and/or experience with a focus on general studies.
  • No experience related to the position. Manufacturing experience helpful.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to doing the job right.
  • Able to comprehend and follow written work instructions/procedures.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Medium Work - Lifting of 50 pounds maximum.
  • Must be able to continuously stand and perform repetitious tasks. Continuous use of hands and arms.
