Job Summary:

Nidec, a leading manufacturer of motors and elevator control systems, is seeking an experienced Wire Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our Motion Control Engineering (MCE) division, you will play a critical role in the assembly and testing of electrical components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cutting wire to specified sizes, stripping, tinning or binding wire parts, wiring and fastening terminal connectors
  • Assembling parts where sequence and method are well defined and require no interpretation or judgment
  • Utilizing small hand tools such as soldering iron, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screw drivers and pliers
  • Ability to understand an electrical schematic

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand an electrical schematic
  • Ability to complete projects independently or with little supervision
  • Ability to clean and maintain work area
