Job Opportunity: Medical Physicist

Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia, a part of the US Oncology network, is seeking a highly motivated Medical Physicist to join our team in Snellville, Georgia. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's or PhD in medical physics with board certification in therapeutic radiological physics or have completed ABR part 2. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, administrators, and support staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate out of our Snellville location, working closely with a team of six physicists
  • Participate in prostate seed implant programs at a neighboring hospital
  • Provide cross-coverage to other centers as needed
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of radiation therapy plans
Requirements:
  • Master's or PhD in medical physics
  • Board certification in therapeutic radiological physics or completion of ABR part 2
  • Ability to obtain a HDR RAM license in the state of Georgia
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be exposed to direct contact with patients and may be exposed to toxic substances, medicinal preparations, and chemotherapeutic agents.
