Bartender Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Ruth's Chris Steak House. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, and wines to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions, handling customer payments and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, making recommendations to guests as needed.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Requirements:
  • Previous bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
