Oral Surgeon Job Description

A reputable dental office in the Chicago, IL area is seeking a skilled and compassionate oral surgeon to provide high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong clinical background in oral surgery procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implant placement, and bone grafting
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients' oral and facial conditions
  • Develop treatment plans and explain procedures to patients
  • Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest oral surgery techniques and technologies
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Work with a high volume of Medicaid patients

Qualifications:
  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Active Dental License in the state of Illinois
  • Active oral surgery specialty certification
  • Strong clinical skills and experience with oral surgery procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
