Position Overview

Loretto Management Corporation is in search of committed and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to become a part of our dedicated team.

We provide competitive Shift Differentials for evening and night shifts, along with opportunities for Overtime after 8 hours, allowing some LPNs to earn up to $53.46/hour during overtime.

Responsibilities

As an LPN, you will:

  • Work under the direct supervision of the nurse manager or charge nurse, following the guidance of the nursing and medical staff.
  • Perform a range of routine nursing tasks to assist in the care and treatment of residents.
  • Participate in daily reports and manage assignments effectively.
  • Assist with nursing procedures as outlined in the procedure manual.
  • Support physicians during treatments or examinations as needed.
  • Monitor and report any significant changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.
  • Engage in team conferences regarding resident care.
  • Document important notes on residents' charts and contribute to monthly nursing summaries.
  • Assist in developing individualized care plans for residents.
  • Administer medications as authorized and ensure compliance with medication protocols.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A foundational knowledge of clinical nursing practices.
  • The ability to effectively assist residents while performing necessary procedures.
  • A diploma from an accredited practical nursing program and current licensure with the appropriate nursing board.
