LA GARE CAFE, a 14-person strong team in Perris, CA, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our dynamic kitchen.

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage the day-to-day operations of our kitchen.

  • Kitchen Management: Set up workstations, ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained, and maintain a high standard of hygiene.
  • Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook dishes to business standards, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train junior staff members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a head chef or senior cook
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
