Soliant is in search of a committed and skilled Educational Psychologist to become a part of our dedicated team. This part-time, onsite role is designed for professionals who are enthusiastic about fostering the academic, social, and emotional growth of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and create effective intervention strategies.
- Offer individual and group counseling sessions to address various behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges faced by students.
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and school administrators to design and implement tailored education plans (IEPs).
- Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to review student progress and recommend necessary interventions.
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff regarding effective instructional methods and classroom management practices.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and offer assistance during emergency situations.
- Maintain precise and confidential documentation of student evaluations, progress, and services rendered.
- Stay informed about the latest best practices and advancements in the field of educational psychology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as an Educational Psychologist.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in a school psychology role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment.
