Responsibilities:

As a Practical Nursing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
  • Collecting and monitoring patient care data, including patient conditions and family dynamics.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Evaluating patient care outcomes and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Documenting all aspects of patient care in accordance with established standards.
  • Administering medications and treatments as per physician's orders.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A diploma from an accredited vocational nursing program.
  • A current state license to practice as a Practical Nurse in good standing.
  • Preferred experience of two or more years in acute care or rehabilitation settings.
  • Current CPR certification and preferred ACLS certification.
