**Job Summary**
ICONMA is seeking an experienced Chemist to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. As a key member of our Automotive client's laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing various chemical analyses and ensuring the quality of our testing operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conducting fuel analysis, including fuel composition, heating value, and distillation points
- Managing fuel inventory and ordering
- Performing maintenance and calibration on various laboratory instruments
- Supporting testing operations and troubleshooting instrument problems
- Developing new chemical analysis methods as needed
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry
- Minimum three years' laboratory experience
- General understanding of vehicle powertrain and exhaust aftertreatment systems
- Experience with vehicle emissions testing and conventional emission analyzers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
**Preferred Requirements:**
- Master's degree in chemistry
