This is a part-time position that will provide supervision, leadership, and motivation for participants in climbing wall programming under the supervision of the Program Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Prepare lesson plans with a natural progression appropriate to the age and ability of the participant.
  • Instruction and Supervision: Lead and assist participants in skill development and activities, enforcing all safety rules and regulations at the climbing wall.
  • Volunteer Management: Assist in recruiting and leading volunteers to assist with programming support.
  • Scheduling and Administration: Create and maintain class schedules and rosters.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience: One year or more of related experience rock climbing.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Belay certified, CPR, First Aid, AED certifications (preferred).
