Overview:

The Logistics Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing logistics activities, mentoring and developing team members, and proposing enhancements to operational processes. You will ensure that team performance aligns with established standards and contribute to achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily logistics operations
  • Collaborate with the Manager to plan logistics workflows
  • Set work schedules and operational procedures
  • Accountable for site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Engage with customers regarding operational matters
  • Track team performance and progress
  • Encourage Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage issues
  • Foster positive labor relations
  • Implement health and safety programs
  • Provide orientation and ongoing support to team members

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in transportation, warehousing, or distribution
  • 0-1 year of direct supervisory experience
