Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grinder Operator to join our team at Regal Rexnord's Aerospace and Defense Division. As a Grinder Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating CNC or manual grinders to perform various grinding operations on precision mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC or manual grinders to perform grinding operations such as O/D, I/D, boring, and facing on components.
  • Follow quality and safety rules, and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Work from blueprints, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts to identify component specifications and enter data into the ERP system.
  • Inspect own work for correct dimensions and ensure company quality and quantity standards are met.
  • Compute data such as dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in machine setup and operation of precision grinding machines.
  • Previous experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an entire shift.
