Our Transportation Department offers services including traffic engineering, project inspection, and road improvement projects. We are looking for a skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team of professionals managing successful projects that exceed client expectations.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement matching, and wellness incentives.

Job Description

  • Develop roadway design plans and contract documents
  • Provide on-site inspection services for transportation improvement projects
  • Perform roadway design tasks including culvert and storm sewer designs, horizontal and vertical alignments, and typical section development

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/transportation engineering
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience working in the engineering industry on City, County, or Department of Transportation projects
  • Experience using MicroStation and OpenRoads would be a plus
