Essential Qualifications for the Senior Electrical Engineer:
1. Extensive experience as an Electrical Engineer in a reputable Engineering Consulting Firm.
2. Proven dedication to achieving net zero objectives, with a background in Geo Thermal Engineering.
3. Current registration as a Professional Electrical Engineer in New Hampshire, or the capability to obtain this registration within one year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a degree in electrical or architectural engineering technology, or a comparable combination of education and practical experience.
- Over ten years of comprehensive experience in electrical design and drafting, particularly within an MEP consulting environment, or a similar background.
- Licensed as a Professional Electrical Engineer in New Hampshire, or eligible to secure this certification within one year.
- Expertise in low voltage electrical design (up to 480 V), including hands-on calculations and field experience. Familiarity with fire alarm and network communication systems is a plus. Experience with higher voltage systems (4160 V to 13.2 kV) is advantageous.
- Proficient in designing energy-efficient lighting and electrical systems, along with relevant control strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues related to the operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Preferred Skills:
- High proficiency in AutoCAD drafting software; familiarity with 3D drafting software such as Revit is beneficial.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with excellent interpersonal and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders and foster strong relationships.
- Strong service orientation with a commitment to enhancing organizational service and operations.
Additional Requirements:
