We are seeking a highly skilled KDB+ Developer to join our Regulatory Reporting Technology team at Compunnel. As a KDB+ Developer, you will play a critical role in building mission-critical brokerage applications for the enterprise.
The Role
As a KDB+ Developer, you will work closely with the regulatory reporting business team and other brokerage technology teams to develop applications for reporting across multiple asset classes with high levels of regulatory scrutiny. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications using KDB+ programming, Python, and other relevant technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop KDB+ applications for regulatory reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications
- Participate in architecture, design, and analysis activities
- Implement projects in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)
- Experience with application deployment automation and pipelines
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket Server, Jenkins, and uDeploy
- Experience with Artifactory and API registries (e.g., Apigee)
- Ability to learn new technologies and tackle complex problems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 5+ years of development experience with strong knowledge of KDB+ programming, Python, and other relevant technologies
- Experience with Unix or Linux, SQL/Relational Databases, and Cloud computing concepts
- Ability to work in a DevOps environment using CI/CD pipelines
