Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Automotive Detailer is to meticulously clean and refurbish new and used vehicles to meet customer specifications, ensuring a showroom-quality appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash and clean vehicle exteriors, including windows and door jams
  • Apply wax to auto body and buff or wipe surfaces
  • Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and devices
  • Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals
  • Clean engine and engine compartment using steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents
  • Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation
  • Restore appearance of engine area, rugs, and upholstery, and painted surfaces
  • Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
  • Operate PACE VIN Order System and coordinate work with team members
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • 1 year of automotive detail experience preferred
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for interacting with employees, vendors, and customers
