Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Donor Specialist - Mobile Operations to join our team at LifeStream Blood Bank. As a key member of our mobile operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to donors while conducting donor registration, interviews, and phlebotomy procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide excellent customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
  2. Conduct donor registration and interviews, gathering necessary information for donor eligibility.
  3. Perform phlebotomy procedures, including blood draws and specimen collection.
  4. Monitor donor recovery and provide care for any adverse reactions.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of donor information and procedures.
  6. Collaborate with the mobile operations team to ensure efficient and effective donor services.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant Diploma or Certified Nursing Assistant Diploma preferred.
  • One to two years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical or blood bank setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with donors, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and work in a laboratory and medical environment.
