Territory Sales Representative

- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to drive customer acquisitions and achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to stay up-to-date on Casella products and services.
- Identify opportunities to increase services to existing customers and develop a comprehensive account retention program.
- Recognize and resolve problems, and develop quality cross-selling solutions with key team members.
- Maintain strong relationships with drivers, operations, customers, and customer service representatives to ensure safe and efficient service procedures.
- Understand and apply company pricing and profitability models, and prepare and submit administrative paperwork for customer setup and account changes.
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to set and communicate monthly goals and accomplishments, and implement effective time management strategies.
- Develop tasks and activities that support personal and company goals, and communicate actual results to goals on a monthly basis.
- Attend divisional and regional sales meetings to aid in training and increase networking opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing, a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, experience or interest in an environmental or sustainability field, relevant sales certifications, and be legally eligible to work in the US.
Strong interpersonal, strategic selling, and negotiation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in collaborative environments, and proficiency using Microsoft Office applications are required.
