Demant is currently in search of a Field Service Technician (Sales & Service Tech) to enhance our team.This Field Service Technician will serve as the equipment authority that our clients depend on for all their audiological instrumentation requirements: including new equipment solutions, technical repairs, and certified calibration.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct calibration, maintenance, repairs, and installations on a diverse range of audiology equipment.
• Develop and sustain customer relationships, providing service and technical support for all Demant equipment offerings, ensuring calibration and preventative maintenance are performed as scheduled in accordance with service agreements.
• Maintain precise records of customer interactions and equipment status.
• Identify new service opportunities and generate sales leads for follow-up by the Regional Sales Manager.
• Travel approximately 80% to customer locations within the designated territory, working independently with minimal oversight.
• Oversee the calibration of equipment received at the regional office; arrange for return to the customer upon completion (company vehicle provided).
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A 2-year technical or engineering degree or equivalent experience is required in lieu of a degree/certificate.
• Must be willing to adhere to the guidelines outlined in the proficiency and certification handbook.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
Travel:
This position requires travel of up to 80% of the time.
Some overnight travel may be necessary.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with bending and lifting throughout the workday.
• Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching may be required depending on customer location variables.
