Responsibilities
  • Personal Care Assistance: Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Meal Service: Help serve meals and snacks at specified times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.
  • Activities Participation: Participate in and support our activities program, which includes a range of social, recreational, and therapeutic activities designed to promote resident engagement and well-being.
  • Training and Development: Attend monthly and quarterly in-services provided by the facility to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Certifications: Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications, ensuring you are equipped to respond to emergencies and provide high-quality care.
  • Specialized Support: For residents with developmental disabilities, adhere to the Program Design, complete specialized training, and meet the objectives in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).
Requirements
  • Clearance and Certification: Live-Scan Clearance and TB test are mandatory for all employees.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification: CPR/First Aid certification is required upon accepting the job offer.
