Labor Delivery Nurse

Job SummaryWe are looking for a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse to provide care and treatment to obstetric patients in our patient-centered care model. As a Labor Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for making clinical assessments, managing treatment autonomously, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery and possess a strong understanding of obstetric care. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, but not required. Additionally, the successful candidate must obtain Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days of employment start date and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor certification within 60 days of employment start date.
Responsibilities- Clinical Assessments: Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation and make informed decisions regarding diagnosis or treatment.
- Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team and ensure their needs are met.
- Treatment Management: Analyze assessment data and manage treatment autonomously, ensuring effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
- Educational Support: Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing them and their families with support throughout their stay.
