About the Role

Capital Dynamics is seeking a highly skilled Co-Investments Associate to join our Private Equity team in New York. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the investment process, conducting due diligence, and monitoring co-investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in direct investment selection, fund portfolio management, and reporting.
  • Undertake due diligence on prospective investments, including financial statement analysis, sensitivity testing, and market assessments.
  • Develop relationships with financial sponsors to source investment opportunities.
  • Prepare closing certificates, valuation analyses, and periodic reports for investment committee review.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including preparation of marketing documents and communication with investors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution with a strong GPA.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in private equity or investment banking.
  • Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence process.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills, including LBO and DCF analysis.
  • Highly developed quantitative skills and writing skills.
  • Sound investment judgment with a keen awareness of risk, return, and exposure management.
