Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist at Sia Partners, you will be responsible for working with our clients to understand their data needs and develop solutions to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Clients: Collaborate with our clients' leadership teams, engineers, and data analysts to understand their data needs and develop solutions to drive business growth.
  • Data Acquisition and Exploration: Identify, acquire, process, and explore relevant data sources to gain insights and drive business decisions.
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze large amounts of structured and unstructured information to discover trends and patterns, and use data analytics and science expertise to derive valuable insights from datasets.
  • Communication and Presentation: Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to stakeholders through multiple mediums, including presentations, dashboards, and datasets.
  • Solution Development: Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges, and collaborate with engineering and product development teams to implement solutions.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst, with a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
  • Skills: Proficiency in R, SQL, and Python, with experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBi, and R Shiny.
  • Education: BSc/BA in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Multiple Coding Languages: Experience with more than one coding language, including languages such as Java, C++, and JavaScript.
  • Data Mining and Machine Learning: Experience in data mining and machine learning, with a strong understanding of statistical techniques and concepts.
  • Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau, PowerBi, and R Shiny.
