Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Interim Healthcare Staffing. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiographic procedures on adult patients in the Cardiology Noninvasive Laboratory.

• Obtain diagnostic information used to evaluate patients for heart disease.
• Prepare studies for interpretation by using on and off line computers to measure pertinent information for interpretation.
• Assist cardiologists with interpretation of echocardiograms and Doppler echocardiograms.
• Participate in the IV start and injection procedure for contrast echocardiography.
• Operate manual and automatic blood pressure equipment.
• Perform a 3D ejection fraction/volume on various patients daily.
• Exercise Stress and Dobutamine Echocardiograms.
• Transesophageal Echocardiograms.

• Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program.
• Registration or registry eligible as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
• 1 Year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• Will be required to become certified in CPR.
