About the Role

As a Phlebotomist at Takeda, you will play a vital role in collecting high-quality plasma from donors, which will be used to create life-changing medicines. Your commitment to customer service and quality will be essential in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate donor compensation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
