Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the medication use system to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless medication management
  • Monitor and analyze medication use data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on medication use and safety

Requirements

  • Professional graduate degree in pharmacy from an accredited school
  • Licensed and registered as a pharmacist by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy
  • At least six months of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care setting or completion of an accredited residency in health-system pharmacy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including keyboard data entry and Windows-based software navigation
