About the Role

The Processing Maintenance Team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our processing equipment. As a key member of this team, you will be tasked with performing preventative maintenance on our equipment, including the MOBA machine.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness and functionality of MOBA components, including blood detection systems, egg inspectors, and case conveyors.
2. Address any deficiencies or issues discovered during inspections and document findings in the PM log.
3. Perform additional maintenance checks as directed by the maintenance supervisory team, including cleaning optical sensors and lubricating equipment.
4. Inspect all lights and doors/walls for leaks, holes, or damage and address any issues discovered.
5. Perform semi-annual and annual maintenance tasks, including chain/belt tensioning, oiling lubrication points, and replacing air filters.

Other Responsibilities

1. Respond promptly to maintenance issues presented by the maintenance supervisory team or processing management.
2. Ensure effective communication with maintenance management on all relevant matters.
3. Acquire and maintain relevant certifications, such as PIT Operator and Lockout/Tagout.
4. Inform relevant management of any maintenance issues that could affect safety and/or productivity.
