At Community Health Network, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. As an Exercise Physiologist PRN- South, you'll play a vital role in our cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.

About the Role

As an Exercise Physiologist, you'll work directly with patients to help them restore their functional capacity through safe and appropriate exercise instruction. You'll possess advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics, as well as the ability to facilitate and support patients in their rehabilitation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation patients
  • Assure safe and appropriate instruction in monitored exercise
  • Facilitate psychological adjustment to lifestyle changes
  • Periodically review progress of each participant and adjust the plan of care accordingly
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Wellness, required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required
  • Exercise Physiologist Certified (EPC), preferred
  • Six months of experience in cardiac rehabilitation facility, required
