Job Summary

Linde Plc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a CDL A or B Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a local route delivery vehicle to deliver hard goods, compressed gas cylinders, and associated products to customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide a high standard of customer service while delivering products, including unloading and reloading cylinders, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Delivery and Cylinder Handling: Accurately count and record quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up, and complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT/TC Regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identify need for vehicle repairs and/or maintenance, and ensure it is accomplished on time.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including handheld computers for conducting customer transaction paperwork and compliance needs.
  • Communication and Cooperation: Communicate and cooperate with customers, respond to their needs, and safely operate delivery vehicle in compliance with company and DOT Guidelines.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years driving experience or completion of a course of instruction from a truck driver training school that operates equipment similar to Linde's.
  • License and Certification: Valid class A or B CDL, current medical examiner's certificate, and current Hazmat on CDL or ability to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire.
  • Education: High School G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Age: 21 years or older.
