Position Summary:

Unit Overview:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Lowell General is equipped for cutting-edge critical care services. Patients in critical condition receive continuous monitoring from a team of highly trained and experienced physicians and nurses.
The ICU's innovative layout allows nursing and physician staff to maintain a comprehensive view of nearly all patients at all times. Each private room is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology that facilitates continuous monitoring of patients' vital signs. For visitors, the spacious, sunlit gallery surrounding the ICU offers a welcoming area to gather and provide emotional and spiritual support for patients and their families. Family members are welcome to visit at any time.
The ICU main campus has been honored with the prestigious BEACON AWARD for EXCELLENCE from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), signifying the highest standards in patient care and professional practice.
Work Schedule:
36 hours per week, Night Shift
3 shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
The float pool requires one weekend per month
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an ICU setting is preferred
- Current RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing is required
- BSN is strongly preferred
- BLS certification is required
- ACLS certification is preferred
