Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Inspector Packer to join our team at Jabil. As an Inspector Packer, you will be responsible for manually inspecting completed plastics parts and packing them into boxes for shipping. You will also be responsible for sealing boxes, printing labels, and stacking full boxes on pallets. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect completed plastics parts for visual attributes such as discoloration, shorts, burns, contamination, splay, and delamination.
  • Record data on product performance and any issues encountered during inspection.
  • Pack products into shipping containers, transport them to the shipping area, and properly weigh and label them.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping floors, picking up stray molded parts, and cleaning up spills and leaks.
  • Sort and rework products that do not conform to customer requirements, properly documenting and labeling non-conforming product.
  • Foster teamwork within the company by developing and maintaining good working relationships with all departments.
  • Complete all required training as assigned and conduct all job functions in a safe manner.
Requirements
  • Average or better math skills.
  • Ability to spend long hours walking and standing.
  • Good color perception and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to work well with others at all levels.
  • Able to work in an orderly, logical manner while paying attention to each detail of responsibility.
  • Good command of the English language for verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), SAP, and email skills preferred.
