Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN for a labor and delivery position in a California hospital.

Position Summary:
Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse
Shift: 12-hour days (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Bonus: $1,000 completion bonus for starting by 11/11

Experience Requirements:
Minimum Experience: 2 years in an L&D setting
Licenses/Certifications Required:
Registered Nurse (RN) in California
BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent

Unit Composition: 8 LDR, 2 Triage (Pre-Op for C-Sections), 2 OR, 2 PACU beds
Patient Population: High-risk patients, high diabetic population
Nurse-Patient Ratios:
1:1 for patients 6cm or greater dilated, on magnesium or insulin drips
1:2 for all others
Special Procedures: Scheduled C-Sections followed through entire care; external versions and cerclages performed only on day shift.
