We are seeking a skilled Clinical Healthcare Professional to join our team at Care Alliance. This role requires a motivated individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Greet and check in patients arriving at the clinic, preparing them to be seen by a provider.
- Prepare treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assist practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care.
- Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
- Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Prepare and administer medications for patients as directed by a provider.
- Run P.O.C. tests as requested by the provider and collect and prepare lab specimens.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
- High School Diploma or GED and completion of a certified medical assistant program.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
- Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Data coding experience.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
