Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods from one location to another
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
- Load and unload freight, and assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required
- Maintain accurate records and logs, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
