About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Bartender/Mixologist to join our team at The Mather in Tysons. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverage experiences for our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Beverage Programs: Create and execute innovative beverage menus, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and wine and beer offerings.
  • Lead the Bar Team: Train and supervise a team of bartenders to ensure exceptional service and quality standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of beverages, glassware, and other bar supplies.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with residents and guests to understand their preferences and provide personalized beverage recommendations.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and meets health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Bartending Experience: Proven track record of creating exceptional beverage experiences and leading a team.
  • Knowledge of Mixology and Cocktail Techniques: Familiarity with classic and modern cocktail recipes, as well as wine and beer knowledge.
  • Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Ability to train and motivate a team, as well as communicate effectively with residents and guests.
  • Inventory Management and Control: Experience with managing inventory and supplies, including ordering and tracking.
