JOB SUMMARY:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will perform ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols. You will provide age-appropriate care to all patients, ensuring a compassionate and professional environment. Your expertise will be essential in executing various ultrasound techniques, with a focus on abdominal, retroperitoneal, and vascular assessments. You will also assist in minor ultrasound procedures, such as cyst aspirations and biopsies, while effectively communicating relevant information regarding examinations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct ultrasound examinations with precision and care.
2. Educate patients about the procedures, accommodating their needs.
3. Support the Ultrasound Department to enhance workflow efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- An Associate's degree or equivalent in a specialized field.
- Graduation from an AMA Accredited Ultrasound program.
- Less than one year of relevant experience.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ARDMS certification or eligibility, with board certification required within one year of hire.
